Elaine Lapham Memorial Scholarship

The Brookdale Community College Foundation has announced that The Elaine Lapham Memorial Scholarship is available for the spring 2012 semester. The scholarship is in the amount of $500.

In order to apply, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Female student
• Comp Sci major or anyone taking a computer science course
• Earned at least 8 credits at Brookdale Community College
• Registered for at least 6 credits for the Spring 2011 semester
• Earned at least a 3.0 grade point average at BCC
• Monmouth County resident
• Demonstrates financial need

If you meet the requirements listed above and would like to apply, you must submit a one page essay detailing your educational objectives and your financial need. You must also secure a letter of recommendation from a faculty member or guidance counselor.

Applications must be received by December 5th and the recipient will be notified by the end of the fall semester.
