Communications
ALL email communications (including submissions of Online Study Guide extra credit questions) for this class will be done using Brookdale email addresses. If you send an email using your Yahoo, Hotmail, or other personal account, I will not answer you. No exceptions. Make certain that you can (a) access your Brookdale email; and (b) check it regularly.
Textbooks and myItLab
Students are required to have the correct textbooks. The Brookdale bookstore has them for sale in a shrink-wrapped package. Both the

are in this package as well as your access code for
You will find the MyITLab access code in a small paperboard folder enclosed in the shrink-wrapped bundle. Be very careful not to throw it away as it will cost you $75 to replace it!
Homework assignments will be submitted through MyITLab and all exams will be administered using this software as well. Students will create their MyITLab accounts during the second class meeting, Tuesday, September 13th. Be sure to bring your MyITLab access code to class that day.
Attendance
Class meets from 8:30 to 11:15 on Tuesday mornings in Larrison Hall, room 102. Attendance is taken at the beginning of each and every class meeting. According to departmental policy, three or more unexcused absences can result in a failing grade, regardless of the quality of work submitted.
